We are happy to help with traditional Barn Hunt, but we also combine it with other scent/rat games as well! We offer Companion Dog training such as basic companion manners, Puppy Classes - NOSE WORK/SCENT WORK including the exciting new sport of MANTRAILING! We also offer Companion Dog classes and Puppy Classes!

Barn Hunt and Happy Ratters

Welcome to the exciting world of Barn Hunt and Happy Ratters, where your dog uses olafactory senses to play these unique games! We provide specialized training to enhance your dog's natural hunting instincts and build their excitement for this unique sport. These games engage your dog using their nose to find and indicate where our rat is hidden! The rat is inside a 4" round, 16" long PVC tube with lots of air holes! The rat is completely safe as your dog learns to follow his nose to find our little friend! There are many competitions in Florida for Barn Hunt, and now the exciting game of Happy Ratters is making debuts! So much fun, far less stringent rules, lots of fun challenges and games, games, games! Put the FUN back in hunting the ratties! We offer Meet the Rat, Run-throughs and all levels of Barn Hunt/Happy Ratters Classes! Come join the fun!

Scent Work and Man Trailing

We offer Scent Work and Man Trailing! Both sports are rapidly growing and are fantastic bonding/teamwork classes! Your dogs will learn to identify scents in a variety of scenarios and in Mantrailing, your dog will learn how to identify and follow a human scent trail and find the hidden person!

Basic Companion Dog Training

We offer positive comprehensive basic obedience training to instill good manners and foundational commands in your dog, ensuring they are well-behaved in any setting. We don't believe in harsh training or harsh equipment. We want both your dog and you to have a fun, positive team experience!

Amazing training experience! We were in the area for Barn Hunt and a little vacation (all the way from Oklahoma) and heard about K9 Common Sense. We set up some time to work on indication problems, and WOW! Our instructor watched us work and came up with a reason for my dogs' lack of indication and had a plan to help us! What she told me was so insightful and she solved my dogs indication issue! We absolutely loved the training sessions, and I've seen a huge improvement her ability to find and indicate the rat on course! We are so excited to be able to go to competitions and be confident in our abilities! We went to our trials all along the way home, and my dog was finally qualifiying! Great insight, great training!
